ICO Participates in Dare A250 Faire Celebration in Downtown Manteo
Manteo, NC — On Saturday, April 18, Interfaith Community Outreach (ICO) was honored to participate in the Dare A250 Faire, held in downtown Manteo as part of the community-wide A250 celebration recognizing liberty, legacy, and the region’s rich history.
The A250 celebration brought together residents and visitors from across the area for a day of performances, exhibits, and community engagement. The event highlighted shared heritage and reflected on the stories and values that continue to shape life in the Outer Banks today.
ICO was excited to be part of the celebration, taking the opportunity to connect with attendees, share its mission, and highlight the programs it provides to individuals and families across Dare and Currituck counties. Staff engaged in meaningful conversations throughout the day, meeting new community members and reconnecting with familiar faces.
“The A250 celebration was a meaningful opportunity to be present in the community, share our mission, and connect with people face-to-face,” said Jenniffer Albanese, Executive Director of Interfaith Community Outreach. “Events like this remind us how important relationships and connection are in building stronger communities.”
The downtown Manteo event was filled with energy, history, and community pride, drawing strong participation and celebrating the region’s shared legacy. ICO expressed gratitude to the event organizers and to everyone who stopped by their booth throughout the day.
