ICO Hosts Successful Veterans Tribute Pickleball Social
Held in honor of General Paul X. Kelley, USMC (Ret.), the event featured open pickleball play, a silent auction, and opportunities to celebrate and support local veterans. Proceeds from the event benefit ICO’s Veterans Outreach Program, which provides compassionate, practical support such as emergency financial assistance and mental health counseling services to help veterans and their families overcome hardships and regain stability.
The day began with a patriotic opening ceremony as members of the American Legion displayed the flags and Mary Beth Fanelli performed the National Anthem, setting a meaningful tone for the event.
“We are incredibly thankful for everyone who helped make this event a success,” said ICO Director Jenniffer Albanese. “From our veterans, players, volunteers, donors, and sponsors, this event demonstrated the power of a community coming together to support those who have served our country.”
ICO extends special appreciation to Chris Kelley Cimco for her generous sponsorship and support of the event. Her commitment helped make the Veterans Tribute Pickleball Social possible and contributed to the continued success of ICO’s Veterans Outreach Program.
