Community Swings Into Action at Interfaith Community Outreach’s 17th Annual Golf Classic
Under sunny skies and in the spirit of giving, Interfaith Community Outreach (ICO) hosted its 17th Annual Golf Classic on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the beautiful Duck Woods Country Club. With over 90 golfers hitting the green, the Outer Banks community came together once again to “tee off for a great cause,” raising vital support for families in Dare and Currituck Counties facing temporary emergencies.
This annual event brought together dozens of golfers, sponsors, and supporters from across the region, all united by a shared commitment to helping neighbors in need. From friendly competition to generous sponsorships, the day was filled with purpose, camaraderie, and hope.
This year’s tournament was flighted, giving teams multiple chances to take home top honors across different skill levels. Congratulations to our winning teams:

Every dollar raised helps our neighbors in crisis regain stability.”
Sponsorships played a vital role in the success of this year’s tournament. ICO is deeply thankful for the many businesses, organizations, and individuals who supported the event through financial and in-kind donations. Special thanks go to Southern Bank and GR Little Insurance Agency, our Longest Drive Sponsors; Ripple Fiber, Bill Sport & The Rayzors, our Closest to the Pin Sponsors; and Good Measure Graphics, our Hole-in-One Sponsor.
