We are an interfaith organization that works to network faith communities, civic groups, other non-profit organizations, government agencies and individuals to provide emergency gap services to people on the Outer Banks and surrounding community.

ICO promises to -

Together we can -

Providing assistance to people facing a temporary, emergency crisis
Interfaith community service is an important way to build understanding between different communities and contribute to the common good. Interfaith service involves people from different religious and non-religious backgrounds tackling community challenges together.   Interfaith service impacts specific community challenges, from homelessness to mentoring to the environment, while building social capital and civility. The particular faith that motivates each of us can promote a greater good for all of us. Instead of driving us apart, our varied beliefs can bring us together to feed the hungry and comfort the afflicted; to make peace where there is strife and rebuild what has broken; to lift up those who have fallen on hard times.
